Optimizing Regional Businesses through
Internet Technology
Helping Montana’s small businesses to leverage the web
to expand their markets and reach more customers
TechRanch, with support from USDA Rural Development, presented four ORBIT seminars across Montana in 2010 and 2011. Programs were held in Bigfork, Frenchtown, Laurel and Belgrade.
ORBIT was designed to provide Montana entrepreneurs with a basic understanding of the tools that are available to effectively establish and maintain a strong web presence.
ORBIT was an introductory class, designed for established small businesses that may or may not already have a website or other online presence.
These seminars introduced participants to many low- and no-cost Internet marketing tools that will help their small business develop and maintain a professional online presence.
Participants left with knowledge, tools and templates that allow them to create and manage an online marketing campaign, without the help of outside consultants.
TechRanch is proud to present ORBIT as a statewide outreach initiative and educational opportunity for Montana’s rural entrepreneurs.
USDA is an equal opportunity provider and employer.
